Ein Herz schweigt nie – “we are to love”

A heart never remains silent. It carries within itself the rhythm of life, the echo of everything once shared.

The image before us, with its radiant red center, is not simply a symbol of love—it is a symbol of its movement. It appears broken, renewed, layered, multiplied. Around it, countless other hearts emerge, as though the one great heart were calling them into being.

This work bears the title:

“we are to love”

It reminds us that love is never static. Love is painted over, scratched, wounded—and yet, it shines all the more brightly. Each layer bears witness to the truth: love only survives if it expresses itself, if it reveals itself, if it is given away.

Madame Vigée once painted faces that carried the invisible light of affection. Today, this work seeks to capture that same force—raw, chaotic, abundant.

At its core lies a universal truth: love is not fragile because it breaks; it is resilient because it continues. It transforms, expands, and invites us to take part in its endless rhythm.
